description: The first entry in the 1972 Miss Chinatown USA pageant to be held in San Francisco is a 21-year-old Anna M. Ling. Born in Fukien, China, the 5' 5" and 115-pound beauty with a 33-23-33 frame is now a resident of San Francisco. An IBM-operator student, she is a linguist with a fluent command of English, Cantonese, Mandarin and several other dialects. Her diversions are outdoor sports, dancing and singing. Miss Ling will demonstrate her talents as a pianist at curtain time on Feb. 19 when the Miss Chinatown USA contest will get underway at the Masonic Temple. She is sponsored by Holiday Inn, located in the heart of SF financial district and Chinatown.
