description: A long-stemmed beauty became the third girl to capture the Miss Sacramento Chinatown crown. She is Hong Kong born Mei Wong, 20, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Yen B. Wong, A coed at Sacramento City College majoring in business administration the 5' 6" willow beauty sang one of her own compositions titled "A Family Prayer" to triumph over her five rivals. She has already signed up for the upcoming Miss Chinatown USA contest. Miss Wong's court of princesses are: Bennette Kwong, 18, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Mow Fong. A former resident of Hong Kong Miss Kwong is studying at Sacramento State College, Other finalists: Gayety Yee, Pearl Um and Joann Fong; Capitol Lions Club prexy Thomas Fong presented trophies to the finalists and Chinese Benevolent Assn. chief Walter Fong addressed the assembly, Albert C. Lim of SF Queen Contest committee chairman presented a bouquet to the queen. Baron D, Lowe and Key Lim were masters of ceremonies. Retiring queen Georgia Seid crowned her successor.
