description: Brenda Tam, attractive 17-year-old University High Sr who wants to be a teacher of gifted children, emerged as the winner over 40 most outstanding school seniors to capture the Hawaii 1965 Junior Miss crown. Along with the title goes a $1000 scholarship and a trip to Mobile for the "America's Junior Miss" title. She will use the prize money to study education to further her goal of helping gifted children. Brenda likes dancing, tennis, darts and most of all, "I like watching people, and study their expressions," she said.
