description: Two hundred and fifty-three pieces of Chinese art treasures are currently on view at San Francisco's de Young Memorial Museum. Among some of the most ancient and peerless antiques are the bronze tripod vessel of the Chou Dynasty, ceramics and paintings on silk from the golden age of Chinese art which spanned 3000 years. These art objects have been shown at Washington, New York, Boston and Chicago. Following its SF showing, the entire collection will be returned to Formosa.
