description: The arrival of the Narcissus tour from Honolulu last month was the signal for the local Chinese Canadian community to demonstrate the meaning of Canadian hospitality. The localities rose to the occasion and entertained the visitors royally. No less than four official receptions were arranged—Chinese Benevolent Assn public meeting and tea; Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans, Unit 280 dance party; Lees Assn tea and a cocktail at Kego Decor. The effervescent party settings were matched by the stately elegance of this quintet of headliners: flanking Narcissus Queen Aileen Lee (middle) is her court of princesses, from left, Doris Him, Raynette Wong, Nancy Woo and Lorraine Doo.
