description: Posters prepared to publicize British Columbia s two years of celebrations 1966 and 1967, are displayed by Mrs. Ella Cawley, left, and Miss Dorothy Hosie of the Provincial Centennial staff. The two posters are the first of a series of five being distributed by the Canadian Confederation Centennial Committee of British Columbia. The fishing scene is symbolic of thousands of fishermen's hide-a-ways where steelheads lurk. The totem poles are in Thunderbird Park at Victoria, B.C. The Empress Hotel can be seen in the background.
